The Cadets
Believe it or not, the Cadets will start their 2012 auditions in just 90 days. In addition to the World Champion Cadets, 2012 will mark the debut of the Cadets2 ensemble.
Carolina Crown
Carolina Crown wrapped up its 2011 summer season with its 22nd annual age-out and awards banquet in downtown Indianapolis. More than 400 people attended the event that recognized both marching corps members and Carolina Crown support team members.

The Cavaliers

Jersey Surf
Jersey Surf Executive Director Bob Jacobs was nominated and will be inducted as part of the New Jersey Drum and Bugle Corps Hall of Fame’s Class of 2011. The banquet and induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, Oct. 8 in Sayreville, N.J.
Music City
Though Music City is still finalizing plans and details for the 2012 season, you can express your interest in joining the Nashville corps by filling out a membership application on its website.
Pacific Crest
Pacific Crest’s annual Golf Classic will take place on Friday, Oct. 7 in Chino Hills, Calif. The entry fee for this fundraising event is $150 per person.
Mandarins
Mandarins announced the corps’ ensemble coordinators for the 2025 season: Robert Selaiden, Travis Pruitt, Jeremy Spicer.
Phantom Regiment
Phantom Regiment Brass Arranger JD Shaw has stepped down from his position with the corps. Shaw was a member of the Regiment in 1990 and 1991 and held the position of brass arranger since 2002. His replacement is still to be determined.
Santa Clara Vanguard
The World Champion Vanguard Winter Percussion program will get its start on Sunday, Oct. 9 in Santa Clara, Calif., with its battery percussion auditions. Front ensemble tryouts are scheduled for mid-November.
Spartans
Registration for the Spartans’ 2012 season is now available online. The corps will host an open house for new and returning members on Sunday, Nov. 20 in Nashua, N.H.
Spirit of Atlanta
A small ensemble of individuals affiliated with the 2011 Spirit of Atlanta had the opportunity to perform last weekend at the Cobb Energy Center. The group’s performance was part of the Gas South Broadway Series’ “Access the Arts” event.
