The Cadets
Youth Education in the Arts, the parent organization of the Cadets, has a job open for a recruiter. The person in this position will seek performers and answer questions from those interested in any of the organization’s ensembles by traveling to colleges, music education conventions, band competitions and more.
Carolina Crown
Carolina Crown thanked members of its booster group for their contributions to sponsor meals for the organization’s 2014 corps members.
The Cavaliers
The Cavaliers pulled together a roundup of all 10 episodes of the organization’s “On Record” video series that explored life on the road with the corps during its 2014 summer tour.
Colts
This summer the Colts received a $12,500 grant from the Dubuque Racing Association (DRA) which the organization used to purchase new instruments for the Colt Cadets. Since 1987, the Colts have received more than $350,000 from the DRA.
Madison Scouts
After announcing last week that artistic director James Mason would retire after a number of years with the corps, the Madison Scouts made a number of new staff appointments including program coordinator, music director and percussion director.
Mandarins
The Mandarins will have a drum line performing this year at home games of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders.

Pacific Crest crunched the numbers on its 2014 membership, which included 156 students from 94 colleges, universities and high schools.
