WEATHER PROCEDURES: With the potential for inclement weather in the forecast for Allentown Friday, August 4, the performing corps and DCI staff are committed to doing everything possible to safely stage the event this evening. With safety in mind, we are asking for your cooperation.

Scattered thunderstorms are currently expected in the early evening that may cause delays and starts and stops to the event. There is the potential for the storms to be severe. There may be cause to ask you to evacuate the stadium. Due to the location and physical nature of the stadium, we may have to make a call to evacuate when lightning is imminent, even though conditions may seem safe and clear at the moment. Your vehicle will be the safest location for you to seek shelter.

DCI will use its social media channels (Facebook & Twitter) to communicate if/when it is safe to restart the show. If you are asked to evacuate, please know the tents in the marketplace will have to be evacuated as well. In the event of an evacuation, we will do everything we can at the gates for easy exit and re-entry.

DCI is working with and in direct contact with meteorologists throughout the day and during the event. At this time, the forecasted storms may prevent us from opening the gates as scheduled at 5:30 p.m. We will announce on social media if this is the case and provide updated timelines as available.

NEW 2023 DCI Marketplace Location: Due to a new building addition behind the stadium scoreboard, the DCI Souvenir Marketplace will be located in a newly graded area outside Gate 1 on Linden Street. In addition to the corps souvenir booths, the new marketplace will feature food trucks to enhance the shopping experience.
