With the generous support of our long-time partner, Walt Disney World Resorts, and the newly acquired partnership of the Central Florida Sports Commission, next year's event will undoubtedly give fans and members exactly what they came for: an amazing drum corps experience! The Florida landmark city strives to be the best host that it can be for drum corps. In the next few weeks, www.dci.org will announce hotel information for downtown Orlando, where you will want to stay to be in the center of it all. We will have special Disney World park passes available for your entertainment while your favorite corps are busy tying up any loose ends in rehearsal. Then, minutes from your downtown hotel, the Citrus Bowl will once again proudly endure the traffic of fans and corps throughout the week with the exception of Wednesday night when the Epcot Center will host the Parade of Champions and other special events. With sights set on 2004, Drum Corps International is exploring the opportunities and advantages that Denver can provide as another exceptional site for their World Championships. We promise to keep you posted when plans are finalized. As always, we are grateful for your support and hope that you can make Orlando one of the last stops in your 2003 summer plans. We look forward to seeing you again, to share in the drum corps experience, and more importantly, to show your support for the young performers as they give their all.Revisit Drum Corps International's website in the future for more details.
