For color guard performers, be prepared to move. The use of the body in every aspect of today's color guard is a fact of life. Even in a static position, your awareness of how the body is part of the totality of presenting yourself can be an obvious way to present your talents. Today's color guards are more physical than ever. Wear proper clothing and warm yourself up before the audition, and keep your body ready throughout the entire process.
