The Academy
The Academy posted a paid employment opportunity, seeking a food service manager who can work for the corps during its 2018 season.

Blue Devils
Blue Devils’ battery percussion section will be performing an educational clinic at PASIC, the Percussive Arts Society International Convention, the afternoon of Saturday, November 11 in Indianapolis.

Blue Devils B
Rebekah Terry has been named the new director of Blue Devils B for 2018. Longtime “BDB” director Rick Odello will become a senior advisor to the corps while also continuing in his role as director of Blue Devils C. “It is an honor to take on this role with none other than Rick Odello, a DCI Hall of Famer, as a mentor,” Terry said.

Blue Knights
Blue Knights has added a BKXperience audition camp and clinic in West Palm Beach, Florida on December 2.

Bluecoats
Bluecoats announced that the corps’ December 3 audition camp scheduled for California will be located in Laguna Hills.

Boston Crusaders
Boston Crusaders welcome Dr. T. André Feagin to the corps’ 2018 brass staff. Feagin is currently the director of bands at Coastal Carolina University.

The Cadets
The Cadets’ discounted audition camp registration fee has been extended to prospective members through November 6.

Carolina Crown

Columbians
Columbians announced its schedule of audition and rehearsal dates which will kick off December 15-17 at a to-be-announced location.

Crossmen
Crossmen announced the members of its 2018 percussion staff, color guard staff, and design team.

Heat Wave
Heat Wave will have a booth at the November 4 marching band competition at Park Vista High School in Lake Worth, Florida.

Jersey Surf
Mike Durborow brings more than 50 years of experience in the drum corps activity to Jersey Surf as the corps’ new visual program manager. See who’s joining him on the corps’ 2018 visual staff.

Legends
Legends revealed the members of the corps’ 2018 brass staff who will be led by returning brass supervisor Ross Gordon. “The brass staff that has been assembled are some of the finest young educators in the activity,” Legends executive director Ibe Sodawalla said.

Louisiana Stars
Louisiana Stars will be holding educational experience camps for all sections at three Louisiana sites between Christmas Day and New Years Eve.

Madison Scouts
Led by William Martin in his second year as caption head, Madison Scouts introduced the members of its 2018 color guard instructional team.

Mandarins
Mandarins is one of five arts organizations to be awarded a Dennis Mangers Fund for Young Performing Artists grant from the Sacramento Region Community Foundation.

Music City
Music City is inviting its alumni to join in the Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee Christmas parades on December 2. The Nashville parade will be broadcast nationwide on Christmas Eve.

Pacific Crest
Pacific Crest has been selected to march in the Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1, 2019, capping off the corps’ 25th anniversary season in 2018.

Santa Clara Vanguard
Santa Clara Vanguard is looking for volunteers to come out on November 4 for Vanguard Hall & Fleet Day, during which a variety of off-season tasks are undertaken. RSVP to receive a free lunch.

Seattle Cascades
Seattle Cascades announced the appointment of Key Poulan as brass arranger and the elevation of Paul Nesper to brass caption supervisor. In addition, Nick Benson has been appointed as artistic director and visual designer, and Michael Tran is returning as executive director.

Southwind
Southwind announced the members of its 2018 design team.

Spirit of Atlanta
Spirit of Atlanta has a booth at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) in Indianapolis through Saturday afternoon. Key staff and members will be in attendance to answer questions about auditions.
