7th Regiment
7th Regiment has been selected to perform on April 1 at the Connecticut Music Educators Association Conference in Hartford. In addition to performing in concert, members of the corps will be led in a marching arts workshop by the corps’ brass and percussion staff.
The Battalion
The Battalion has recently partnered with Utah Valley University’s Green Man Group, an ensemble that provides entertainment productions for athletic and corporate events. The partnership promises full-tuition scholarships to any Battalion drum line veteran who performs at least one season the corps and the joins the UVU ensemble.
Blue Devils
Blue Devils B and Blue Devils C will host a brand new DCI Tour event on Sunday, July 9 in Pleasant Hill, California.
Blue Knights
If you wish to donate toward the completion of Blue Knights’ new mobile kitchen, no time is better than now. All donations up to $2,000 will be doubled through the end of this Sunday.
Bluecoats
Bluecoats will help host the EN-RICH-MENT Stark County Youth Percussion Competition on Saturday, May 20, at McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio.
Boston Crusaders
Boston Crusaders has announced a new sponsorship and partnership with Remo, which will also benefit the corps’ grassroots percussion programs in the City of Boston.
The Cadets
One of Cadets’ out-of-commission buses was featured in a cameo appearance in the March 19 episode of AMC’s hit program, “The Walking Dead.”
The Cavaliers
The Midwest Connection, sponsored and run by the Cavaliers organization, is a new community-based drum corps project servicing Chicagoland males and females that will emphasize parade and concert band performing opportunities.
Columbians
Columbians have a number of openings in its color guard, brass and percussion sections.
Guardians
Guardians has open positions for brass players as well as percussionists in the corps’ cymbal line. In addition, color guard auditions will continue at the corps’ April camp.
Jersey Surf
Jersey Surf has a few performing positions available, including opportunities for color guard members. Those interested should check out the corps’ rehearsal camp April 21-23 in New Jersey.
Impulse
Impulse will be holding this Sunday’s rehearsal at the corps’ new rehearsal site in Norwalk. Membership spots are still available for trumpets and mellophones. Interested prospects are asked to bring their own mouthpiece.
Incognito
Alex Gray, former percussion caption head of Impulse, is Incognito’s new director. He states he is “eager to share the new Incognito to our members and the DCI Open Class community.”
Madison Scouts
Madison Scouts has openings for athletic trainers, a volunteer coordinator, and administration, merchandising, and marketing interns.
Mandarins
In a live Facebook event on Thursday evening, Mandarins announced the title and theme of the corps’ 2017 production.
Oregon Crusaders
Oregon Crusaders has a need for a bookkeeper, head cook, tour assistant, and CDLA-licensed drivers.
