Blue Devils

This week Justin Heimbecker was named the new CEO of the Blue Devils Performing Arts Association.

Blue Knights

Blue Knights posted a series of photos from the corps January BKXperience camp in Denver last weekend.


The Bluecoats appointed Michael Scott to the newly created position of business development manager. He will focus on new fundraising programs as well as the development of key current and future business operations for the organization.

Boston Crusaders

Inspire Arts & Music, the parent organization of the Boston Crusaders, has hired Donna Monte as its new director of accounting and administration. Monte is the former executive director of the Open Class drum corps Citations.

The Cadets

The Cadets have an open position for an operations manager. "Here at Youth Education in the Arts, we have teams in place to manage the day-to-day operations of both the Cadets and Cadets2,” CEO and corps director George Hopkins said. "However, in the case of both drum corps, there is a need for some additions to the leadership personnel."

Carolina Crown

After a record turnout of prospective members at several audition camps hosted across the country, Carolina Crown has its roster of brass, percussion and drum majors set for 2016.


The Cascades’ 2016 production, “O,” will feature music by Imogen Heap, John Adams, Frank Ticheli and Carl Orff.

Colt Cadets

Colt Cadets will get 2016 underway with two open house rehearsals in February. Membership in the Colt Cadets is open to any student in middle or high school, with or without prior performance experience.

Racine Scouts

The oldest continually operating group in Drum Corps International, the Racine Scouts threw it back several decades posting these retro photos on its Facebook page.


The Raiders welcomed a prospective member all the way from Colombia at the corps’ January rehearsal camp.

Santa Clara Vanguard

Last weekend Santa Clara Vanguard celebrated the life of the corps’ late visual designer Myron Rosander. This YouTube video recaps the entire special event in its entirety.

Discussing the corps’ 2016 production, “Hero,” Troopers program and staff coordinator Donnie VanDoren said, “We've pushed the boundaries out to the point this year that you're going to hear the Troopers do some material you'd never thought you'd hear the Troopers do, see some things you've never seen the Troopers do."
