The Academy exceeded its goal in a recent fundraising campaign, raising a total of $16,907.

Blue Devils

The Blue Devils tell us to keep an eye on the new NBC TV show, “Little Big Shots.”

Blue Devils B

Blue Devils B’s annual Crab Feed Fundraiser will take place Saturday, March 19, in Antioch, California. The deadline to order tickets for the event, which is expected to sell out, is March 5.


The Bluecoats organization is seeking an athletic trainer and food service manager to work with the corps during its 2016 summer season.

The Cadets

Last weekend Cadets corps members headed to Allentown, Pennsylvania, for an annual leadership workshop for section leaders at the organization’s headquarters.

Carolina Crown

Carolina Crown reports on the corps’ two drum majors who headed to Denver at the end of January for Drum Corps International’s drum major summit.


The Colts revealed the title of their 2016 production, “Nachtmusik.”


Columbians is looking for volunteers who can help sew, iron and fit corps member uniforms.

Oregon Crusaders

Stoking the corps’ instructional roster for 2016, Oregon Crusaders promoted Ray Severns to the role of assistant director and added Greg Hall as a brass instructor.

Phantom Regiment

Phantom Regiment added John Escalante to its color guard design staff. He joins returning caption heads Annie Pelka and Jessica Francis.


Third-year Pioneer member Haley Jo Kendrick has been appointed the corps’ color guard sergeant.

Santa Clara Vanguard

Charles Frost has been named Santa Clara Vanguard corps director and acting executive director.  Frost, who has served as corps manager since 2013, steps in as Vanguard CEO Jeff Fiedler steps down to put focus on his health and family.


The Fool’s Rush 5k and Fun Run will benefit Southwind. Registration is now open for the event that will take place on April 2 at the University of South Alabama.


Five-year Troopers veteran Cameron Honnen has been named the corps’ assistant drum major. “(Cameron) brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the entire organization,” director Fred Morris said.
