The Academy’s board of directors has offered to match all Birdies for Charity donations during the Phoenix Open up to a total of $7,000.
Battalion Entertainment, a new performing group under the Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps umbrella, made its debut this past week at a global marketing meeting in Salt Lake City.

Santa Clara Vanguard
If you like bacon and beer with your drum corps, Santa Clara Vanguard will be performing February 25 at the nationally-touring Bacon and Beer Classic in Levi’s Stadium.
Collin Lehmann and Maya Botkin join fourth-year veteran member Nick Novy as the 2017 Cascades drum majors. The trio will lead corps members at the group’s upcoming rehearsal camp February 10-12.
Spartans is looking for brass players to participate in this summer’s Nashua, New Hampshire fireworks display, which annually attracts 30,000 people.

Spirit of Atlanta introduces drum major Philip Martinez, along with conductors Wimberly Hall and Aldan Lerner.
The next round of Watchmen auditions will take place in Riverside, California February 4-5.
