The Academy will debut its 2017 production and also unveil new uniforms at the corps' “Meet the Academy” event on April 29 at Campo Verde High School in Gilbert, Arizona. The $10 admission includes dinner.
The Battalion has revealed the title of its 2017 production, “Listen to the Silence.”
Blue Devils has an opening for an operations director. Responsibilities of the position include financial management, bingo oversight, human resources and risk management, supervision of facilities, building and grounds, and transportation.
Blue Knights are in need of a few volunteers to assist the corps during this weekend's rehearsal camp.
Blue Stars has an immediate need for a front ensemble percussionist with knowledge of an array of concert and world percussion instruments.
Bluecoats will present its Blue Way Interactive Educational Experience at Denison University in Granville, Ohio June 3-4. Participants will spend the weekend learning and playing alongside members of the corps during workshops for brass, battery percussion, color guard, and drum major.
Boston Crusaders' Spring Preview event is being held this weekend at Lakewood Ranch High School in Bradenton, Florida. Those interested in attending are requested to bring paper goods to donate to the corps as their “ticket” of entry.
With an eight-person vocal ensemble taking the field with the Cadets this summer, the corps is in need of a vocal instructor for much of the corps' summer season. The ideal candidate is a choral teacher who has experience in the marching arts.
Registration is open for four different CrownLEARNING summer camps this June. Educational tracts for band members include sessions for drum majors, battery percussionists, color guard and brass performers.
The Cavaliers revealed the title of the corps' 2017 competitive production. The show will feature works by Richard Strauss, Aaron Copland, John Mackey and Gustav Holst, among others.
Colts color guard auditions will continue April 28-30 in Dubuque, Iowa.
May 4 is the date for The Big Give SA, a 24-hour day of giving to more than 600 San Antonio nonprofit organizations. All those donating at least $10 will be offered a special first-look at Crossmen's 2017 production and uniforms.
In his first season with the corps, Aaron Sanderson has been promoted to assistant brass caption head for Genesis.
Gold's first full-corps rehearsal is April 29-30 at Orange Glen High School in Escondido, California. There are a few spots left in both the brass and percussion lines, and the weekend will also feature the final auditions for members of the color guard.
Prospective color guard members are invited to come to Golden Empire's second audition and workshop on Sunday, April 30 at Bakersfield College.
Guardians announced the creation of numerous new programs under the auspices of the corps' Independent Creative Arts Network. Included is a regional initiative to bring more drum corps to Texas, starting with the Hub City Guardians in Lubbock. Other endeavors include the creation of the Guardians FX WGI Winds ensemble and Guardians Sprouts, a variety of music education services that will be provided to pre-schools and day care centers.
Incognito has spots available for brass, front ensemble percussion, and color guard performers. The corps' next rehearsal camp will be held May 7.
Steven Vento joins Legends as the corps' new brass arranger. "The addition of Steven to the design team is exactly who I was looking for to replace myself as the brass arranger for the corps," said Legends Executive Director Ibe Sodawalla.
Mandarins will be participating in Sacramento's Big Day of Giving on Thursday, May 4. Proceeds will help the corps outfit its new mobile kitchen. Donations may be scheduled in advance of that date.

Pacific Crest will hold a rehearsal camp and color guard auditions April 28-30 at Diamond Bar High School in California.
Joining the Phantom Regiment Booster Club allows members to receive special announcements from the corps prior to public release. Certain levels of membership also include 15 percent off merchandise and free tickets to corps' DCI Tour events in Rockford and DeKalb, Illinois.

River City Rhythm
River City Rhythm's 2017 Big Cup Golf Tournament will be held Monday, June 26 at Rum River Hills Gold Club in Ramsey, Minnesota. More than $5,000 in prizes will be offered.
Santa Clara Vanguard
Red Level donors to Santa Clara Vanguard's STAR Donor campaign will get their names listed on the corps' 2017 equipment truck. Donors at all levels will assist in keeping membership fees low and also will support the corps on its 2017 summer tour.
With membership hailing from 22 states and Canada, Cascades has a number of positions still open for students in its brass and color guard sections.
Shadow has openings for color guard members who are currently students in high school.
Spartans is looking for one mellophone player and one multi-tenor drummer to join the corps for its 2017 season.
Spirit of Atlanta
Final Spirit of Atlanta color guard auditions will be held this weekend at Luella High School in Locust Grove, Georgia.
Members of the Vanguard Cadets joined a variety of local music and dance ensembles in performing at Mission College's Musical Celebration in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, April 23.
