7th Regiment has openings for mellophone, baritone, cymbal players, and color guard members. The color guard will be holding open auditions during the corps’ April 28-30 camp.
The Academy will be getting new uniforms this year and is inviting donors to provide an inspirational message that will be sewed onto the tag of an individual uniform.
The Battalion is putting together a registry of Utah drum corps alumni in order to build an interconnected community within the state.
Blue Devils is seeking items to be donated for the corps’ 60th Anniversary Gala auction. Gift items sought may be tickets to arts or sporting events, travel packages, hotel or condo stays, wine tastings, golf packages, spa treatments, and more.
Blue Knights announced the new and returning members of the corps’ color guard staff for 2017.
This week Bluecoats announced plans to start an indoor color guard ensemble to compete in WGI Sport of the Arts competitions in 2018. “In recent years, our design team has successfully developed a very unique brand of entertainment focused on searching for what’s ‘next’ in our activity,” executive director David Glasgow said. “We can’t wait to extend this design philosophy to a new creative outlet for the Bluecoats.”
Boston Crusaders introduced Julia Cardillo as the corps’ new media team supervisor. “Being part of a media team provides a unique perspective into the everyday life of drum corps that is seldom seen from the audience,” she said. “I’m excited to join the Boston Crusaders team this season to help bring these stories to a national audience.”
The Cadets have additional opportunities for male color guard members for the corps’ 2017 season. Auditions will be held April 28-30.
Colts is seeking volunteer cooks, drivers, and sewing personnel.
Crossmen is currently hiring two CDL licensed drivers for the corps’ summer tour.
Guardians still has openings for 12 brass and three cymbal players, in addition to a variety of color guard positions.
Madison Scouts is auditioning 15-20-year-olds for MadBrass, the corps’ new coed SoundSport team.
Mandarins is looking for tour administrative staff members to work with the corps during its 2017 season.
River City Rhythm
River City Rhythm’s next rehearsal camp will be held April 28-30 in Waseca, Minnesota. There are openings in a variety of sections.
Seattle Cascades has an immediate need for one tuba and one baritone player.

Troopers has teamed up with VIBES Fine and Performing Arts to host the Wyoming Summer Music Camp for band students in Wyoming and surrounding states.
Watchmen is holding its next rehearsal camp May 6-7 at Patriot High School in Riverside, California. A limited number of positions for prospective members are still available.
