7th Regiment announced its new and returning design staff members for the 2013 season.
The Academy
The Academy announced new members of its educational team who include Mykail Costner as color guard caption head and Jason Bentley as visual caption head.
Blue Devils
The Blue Devils will present two educational clinics in Brazil this November with support from Musical Roriz, a Brazilian Conn-Selmer dealer.
Bluecoats
Bluecoats announced their 2013 instructional staff leaders in the brass, percussion, visual and color guard captions.
The Cadets
The Cadets will host a tailgate party this Sunday, Sept. 30 at the Collegiate Band Festival at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, Pa.
The Cavaliers
The Cavaliers announced the new and returning members of their caption leadership team for the 2013 season. “We’re moving forward in 2013 with consistency across our caption leads, but also with an invigorated focus on enhancing the Cavalier experience,” Director Adolph DeGrauwe said.
City Sound
City Sound will host auditions on Sunday, Oct. 21 at California State University Dominguez Hills in Carson, Calif. Openings are available in the corps’ color guard, brass, front ensemble and drum line sections. The audition runs from noon to 6 p.m.
Jersey Surf
Stop by and say hello to Jersey Surf members and staff who will be in attendance at the Collegiate Marching Band Festival on Sunday, Sept. 30 in Allentown, Pa.
Mandarins
The core of Mandarins’ design staff from last summer will return to their positions with the corps in 2013. “We were very pleased with last season’s program put together by our design team and look forward to the direction they will take us in 2013, our 50th year anniversary,” Executive Director Ray Mar said.
Music City
Music City will host an audition camp Dec. 15-16 at Freedom Middle School in Franklin, Tenn. The camp will include an information session for parents on Sunday the 16h.
Oregon Crusaders
After a meeting last weekend of the voting membership of Drum Corps International, Oregon Crusaders were approved to compete as a World Class corps during the 2013 DCI summer tour.
