Ashley Haynes, 19, a percussionist from Winston-Salem, N.C., sent in this one. Haynes is a sophomore studying music education at the University of North Texas and was a member of the 2004 Phantom Regiment pit.
“Thanks to the help of our pit tech, Sandi Rennick, the five girls of the Phantom Regiment pit were able to order some crazy yellow hype shoes this summer. This picture was taken when we received our shoes after the Columbia, S.C., show on July 14, 2004.
