DCI launches new travel site

by Drum Corps International

Forget the big RVs. Put the air mattresses back in their bags. Throw your cares away and get ready to travel with ease. Drum corps fans can now book hotel and transportation through Drum Corps International for any city their favorite corps are invading. Simply follow your favorite corps... Anywhere!
DCI, in partnership with Travelink, has launched travel.DCI.org, a new Web site where drum corps fans can make hotel reservations across the country. The Web site offers a direct menu to select destinations to any DCI-sanctioned show. You can also book car rentals through the site. Whether you're DCI's greatest fan or experiencing your very first show, this is a convenient "one-stop travel shop." "With the launch of this site, we look to provide an effortless way for fans to manage their drum corps travel needs. This will allow them to focus their attentions on rooting for their beloved corps instead of worrying about getting down the road and where to stay," said Drum Corps International's Travel Coordinator Andrea Rider. "I encourage all Drum Corps International fans to visit the site often for the latest travel updates for DCI events, as well as other destinations worldwide," said Jeanne Coluombo, director of marketing for Travelink. As a special promotion, you could win round-trip airfare and accommodations for the 2007 World Championships in Pasadena, Calif. Visit travel.DCI.org for details. As the official travel agency for Drum Corps International, Travelink is proud to support DCI by providing complete travel arrangements for judges, member corps, Friends of DCI and now even more DCI fans.
