the two members of Cap Sound's tuba section.
Following her performance in Lisle, Ill. on June 24, fifth-year Capital Sound tuba player Becky Soules chatted with DCI.org's Christina Mavroudis. Soules is a proud member of half of the corps' all-female tuba section. An identical triplet, Soules is marching as a member of Capital Sound with her sister Theresa who is the corps' drum major. Even though Capital Sound will not travel to Rose Bowl Stadium this August for the 2007 DCI World Championships, Soules and her sister will make the trip west to take part in Drum Corps International's annual "age-out ceremony," which recognizes those members who will be graduating from the ranks of all corps. "I'll probably be crying, but it's just that we've been through so much and it's just weird to think that it's done," Soules said about participating in her last eligible season with Capital Sound.
