Current undergraduate or graduate-level music education majors are welcome to attend the 2012 Drum Corps International World Championship Semifinals as our guest. Designed especially for music education students, you'll have the opportunity to spend the day immersed in the marching arts, interacting with guest presenters and learning alongside fellow future music educators. It all happens on Friday, Aug. 10 at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis. Event Schedule Subject to change 9 to 9:30 a.m. — Sign in at Lucas Oil Stadium 9:30 a.m. — Welcome 10:30 a.m. — Begin the day with a special educational workshop led by professional speaker Fran Kick, the creator and presenter of KICK IT IN, a series of self-motivational personal leadership presentations 12:30 p.m. — Behind-the-scenes tour of Lucas Oil Stadium 1 to 2 p.m. — Lunch 2 to 11 p.m. — Watch drum corps as they warm-up for competition at Military Park or enjoy the Semifinals performances from special reserved seating An RSVP is required to attend this free event.
