The Phantom Regiment’s 50th anniversary will be celebrated in
2006.
As part of the celebration, a 50th anniversary logo will be designed, which will be incorporated into souvenirs, letterhead and other commemorative items.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a professional graphics artist, salesman, teacher or whatever, we would like to see your design for a 50th anniversary Phantom Regiment logo. Don’t worry if you are only able to provide a sketch, we can turn it into the appropriate computer file.
There is a prize if the organization selects your design: 2 tickets to the 2006 Show of Shows and a $50 gift certificate to the Phantom regiment online store.
The only guidelines for the design are this: It must incorporate a chevron, it must use “fifty” or “50” and it must use some combination of black, red and/or white. The rest is up to your imagination.
If you work in Freehand or Illustrator, please submit the file as a .jpg (we’ll ask for the high-resolution file when necessary) to [email protected]. If you would like to submit a drawing/sketch, please send it to Phantom Regiment, Attn: Logo Design, 5050 E. State St., Rockford, IL 61108.
