From a Mystikal press release: As the 2006 drum corps season rapidly approaches, Mystikal corps director Rob Lowery has announced that the entire creative team from the 2005 season has been retained for 2006. The decision was based on both strength of design from 2005, and the cohesiveness of the team. The creative team, including John Meehan (brass arranger), Bill Garcia (percussion arranger), Jaime Holly (visual designer) and Joe Paul (visual coordinator), has already begun working on the 2006 show, which will be taken all the way to the Drum Corps International World Championships in Madison, Wis. Lowery expressed excitement with the decision to retain the team. "I was really happy with the design of the 2005 show," he said. "The strength of every area was evident. Now, that they've all learned each other's styles, I know 2006 will be even stronger. The kids will definitely benefit from the team's creativity." While the 2006 show has yet to be chosen, Lowery says that the team is already coming up with amazing ideas. Final music and show design will be announced at a later date.
