This is a picture of Sgt Jessica Smith, United States Army and myself (Sgt LeAnn Splitter, United States Marine Corps). We marched together at the Colts in 2001, and had the opportunity to serve together at the School of Music on JEB Little Creek in Virginia Beach, VA for the past year and a half. Jessica marched Colts from 1999-2001 and is now a horn player and vocalist stationed at the Army’s TRADOC band in Ft. Eustis. I marched Colts 2001-2002 and then taught visual there until I joined the Marine Corps after the 2006 season. I’m now a trumpet instructor at the School of Music.
