During the audition weekend we will usually start with a dance class on Friday night and then work on some flag technique. Spinning flag is such an important part of being in any drum corps color guard. It is the most visual piece of equipment and something that every member of the guard will spin during the show. Sometimes weapon people overlook their own flag skills and that importance. We will also learn a variety of equipment combinations and do a lot of technique to see how individuals adapt to our style, take corrections and get a good feel for their general skill level. - Rosie Miller, Carolina Crown color guard co-supervisor Check out a list of audition dates for the corps you want to join.
