"My friends Jake Simon, Jessica O'Donnel, Natalie Salvatierra and I marched Esperanza this past summer and took this opportunity in Indianapolis at the Midwestern Regional to pose with my brother, Jesse Minor, and his friend James Rivera, who both marched with the Santa Clara Vanguard. It was really cool for us to meet up with them since they are on the visual staff for our marching band at Chaparral High School in Temecula, Calif. Jesse marched Trumpet for SCV in 2003, 2004, and 2005, and James marched mellophone in 2004 and 2005. They have one more year to go. Jake, Natalie and I marched trumpet this summer and Jessica marched with the guard. It was a great experience for all of us and we plan on doing this until we age out. Temecula represent!"
