In recent years, the familiar cry of "Blooo!" from fans at DCI shows has risen in volume, just as the Bluecoats' scores have risen meteorically through recent World Championships. Fans now know that the corps in blue from N. Canton, Ohio, will always deliver a stunning show. But how well do they know corps director David Glasgow? Glasgow is the Bluecoats' first full-time director. He is a former Bluecoat drum major and Bluecoat of the Year, and served the corps as tour coordinator and assistant director before becoming executive director in August of 2003. DCI.org's Ricky Fritzsching sat down with Glasgow at BOA's Grand Nationals in Indianapolis last weekend as Glasgow was preparing to head off to Texas for Bluecoats auditions. Glasgow reflected on last season and offered up some personal insights. "We had a great season last year, so we're trying to build upon that season by getting even better. We have some exciting things in the works," Glasgow said.
