DCI fans, get ready to fire up the computer or pick up the phone. Tickets for three DCI major events -- DCI San Antonio (San Antonio, Texas, July 22), DCI Columbia (Columbia, Mo., June 24) and the Masters of the Summer Music Games (Murfreesboro, Tenn., July 28) -- are on sale NOW! DCI San Antonio, once again held at the Alamodome, features 22 Division I corps in two shows, one beginning at noon and the other at 7 p.m. One ticket gets you access to both shows. The Alamodome is a wonderful drum corps venue, and the ravenous Texas crowds make this annual event something special! Meanwhile, drum corps performers know to turn in a special performance in the Alamodome. "In a place like this you just stick to your guns and you come out fine," said Southwind drum major Lauren McCawley. Ticket prices for DCI San Antonio are $45, $35, $25, or $15 for groups of 25 or more. Elsewhere, DCI heads back to the show-me state of Missouri on June 26, 2006 at Faurot Field's Memorial Stadium on the beautiful campus of the University of Missouri in Columbia! Brandt Crocker, DCI's famed announcer, also announces football games for the University of Missouri. Crocker said, "Faurot Field is a wonderful venue for a drum corps show. I have spent many football Saturdays there, and drum corps fans love the place. Not a bad seat in the house." On June 24, the show, featuring seven corps from several DCI divisions, starts at 7 p.m.! Ticket prices are $18 or $15 for groups of 25 or more. Meanwhile, the Masters of the Summer Music Games will again be held at venerable Floyd Stadium on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University on July 28, a perfect setting for drum corps. The show begins at 8 p.m. The corps performing in the DCI Masters of the summer music games will be determined by the results of all DCI competitions from July 16 to July 27. Phantom Regiment mellophone player Vanessa Wojak cited the Tennessee fans as being particularly inspiring in Murfreesboro last year. "The incredible fans out there were a definite hype for us," Wojak said. Ticket prices for the Masters of the Summer Music Games are $40, $30, $20, $15, and $15 for groups of 25 or more. Times and lineups subject to change. Per-ticket fees apply to all tickets.>
Tickets are NOW available for all three events online or at 800.495.7469 x3.
