From a Phantom Regiment release: Phantom Regiment was involved in a bus accident on the way to a show in East Rutherford, N.J., on Saturday night. The bus collided with a car on I-78. Details of the accident are still being investigated. Four members along with the driver of the car were taken to a hospital as a precautionary measure. The members were treated and released. None of the injured members performed in the show at Giants Stadium, but the corps did go on. "They're going to be OK. They'll probably be a little sore (Sunday), but there were no serious injuries," said Rick Valenzuela, executive director of Phantom Regiment. Despite the accident, the members pulled together for a solid performance Saturday night. PR is traveling to Rome, N.Y., for a show Sunday and will remain in Rome for a rehearsal day Monday. More details will be posted on Regiment.org as soon as they are available.
