We all deal with nervousness everyday. One thing that I find helps me is to spend some time before an event really exploring what it is that is frightening to me and visualizing all of the possible negative outcomes that I fear. Some of them will vanish immediately on examination, because they were never truly possible. No one is going to mock you or make you feel inferior.
