Stanbury Uniforms designer Greg Lagola who also serves on the show design team of the Bluecoats, talks about the truly unique look the Brookfield, Missouri-based uniform manufacturer helped the corps bring to the field as part of its Beatles-inspired 2019 production, “The Bluecoats.”
“Early on in the development of the look, there were a lot of conversations about where the Beatles were, what they could record, what they couldn’t, and how they didn’t want to be boxed in,” Lagola said. “There’s a spirit of experimentation and that spirit was the perfect marriage between that vibe and what we’re doing with the drum corps.”
