Event partner Brown talks on "A Year in the life of an event partner"

Among the throngs of people who work behind the scenes to ensure a wonderful DCI show are tour event partners, who work hard all year to promote drum corps shows. That group is also meeting in Denver this weekend.^ Bruce Brown, event partner for the Summer Music Games in Cincinnati for the last nine years (and a General Electric employee "during the day" for the last 25 years) , offered up his reflections during a segment entitled, "A Year in the life of a tour event partner." "In a nutshell, it's a lot of work," Brown said, adding that the purpose of event partner sessions was "To foster community among all tour event partners. We learn from one another."
