We have been followers of the drum corps activity since the late 1970s, and we are very proud of our son, Andrew, who is a first-year baritone player with the Cadets. This photo is from the Westminster, Md. show and captures Andrew with his grandmother, Ola LaPrade, who made the six-hour trip from her home in southern Virginia to see the show. This was taken during the Cadets' dinner break, when "Granny" was able to get a short visit before Andrew had to change for the performance. Ola's first Drum Corps International show in almost 25 years was made even more special with the family connection.
