"This shot of some SCV and PR guard members was taken at a 4th of July at a picnic that Phantom Regiment and Santa Clara Vanguard shared at SCV's housing site in Stockton, Calif. We ate, played Frisbee and football, and the two corps did standstill runs of their shows, which was a lot of fun. The picnic was also a special treat for me because my best friend, Shayna Grajo (top), marches SCV, and the only time I get to see her is during the summer because she lives in Colorado and I live in Florida. It was really nice to get to spend a few hours with her and just get some time to chill and make new friends."
